Trial period

The Tuba Exchange (TE) offers a trial period for all new and used instruments that are regularly kept in stock. In the event of a return, the customer must inform TE of intent to return the order within 7 days of their receipt of the instrument, prior to shipping the return. The return must arrive at TE within 14 days of receipt, in the same condition in which it was sent to the customer. The customer is responsible for any damage incurred while the instrument is out on trial. The customer is responsible for paying all freight charges for returned instruments. NOTE: All mouthpiece and special orders are final.

 

Warranties 

New Tuba Exchange and St. Petersburg instruments come with a 5-year warranty against verified manufacturer’s defects including parts and labor to remedy such defects. Excluded from this warranty are finish flaws, finish wear, and parts due to normal wear. Dents and/or damage are also not covered by the warranty.

All used TUBA EXCHANGE branded instruments are covered by a 1-year warranty limited to the cost of materials and labor needed for the instrument to be in playing condition. Dents and/or damage are not covered by this warranty.

ALL WARRANTY WORK MUST HAVE APPROVAL FROM TE PRIOR TO ANY WORK BEING DONE.

Warranties for other brands of instruments, will be dictated by their own respective factory warranty policies.

 

Delivery

YOU SHOULD INSPECT YOUR PACKAGE PRIOR TO SIGNING ANY SHIPPING DOCUMENTS. By signing for a delivery without inspection and without notating visible damage on the delivery receipt, claims against the carrier for any shipping damage will most likely be voided. The Tuba Exchange assumes no liability for damage or loss incurred during transit, but we will assist in filing any damage claims with the carrier.

 

Online pricing

While we make every attempt to insure all prices posted are accurate, we are only human, and sometimes a listed price is not accurate. Please note that all orders placed online via our website will be checked prior to shipping to insure pricing is correct. If it is found that a price was not accurate, we will inform you promptly of the discrepancy, and work with you to arrive at an amicable resolution. If an agreement cannot be reached, we will promptly refund any money paid to TE.
