The St. Petersburg 202, which are made in Ukraine, is the instrument of choice for all those who wish a 4/4, four rotary valve, BBb tuba with the best combination of great tone, great response, great intonation, and great price! Available in nickel plate or lacquer finish, yellow or gold brass. Case is sold separately.
A note on St Petersburg tubas: due to the ongoing invasion of Russia in Ukraine, the owner of the factory that produces the St Petersburg tubas in Ukraine has made a decision to change the name of the tubas to STP Carpathians. This not only removes the association of St Petersburg Russia from the tubas, but also pays homage to the mountain range that is a dominant geographical feature of the region where the factory is located.
